Easy access by canoe or small boat from lake Nitsijärvi to Lake Inari.
Good chances for fishing in summer or winter.
Also hiking, picking berries, driving snow mobiles or just relaxing.
We have 3 cabins close to the highway and accessible by car.
3 log cabins, each cabin for 4 persons.

The cabins were constructed in 2005 and are 16 square meters each + terrace. The cabins are equipped with bunk beds for altogether 4 persons, mini kitchen, refrigerator, stove, coffee machine and dishes etc. Showers and WC outside, shared with the other 2 cabins. Price for a cabin is 70 € per day, including sauna. Without sauna 60e per day. 25 € for the sauna only on the lakeshore. Good swimming possibilities. Tent place 10€ per day ( electricity available ). Caravan 30€ ( electricity available ). For caravans there are NO also chemical disposal points and NO dirty water emptying. Bed clothes 5 €. ( prices updated 25.04.2023 ) No debit/credit cards, please take cash from Ivalo or Inari with you !!! Possible to rent a 5,5 meter motorboat, 50€ per day. Take 98 petrol with you. Rowing boat for rent 10e per day if you take cabin ! Pets allowed ( dog or cat ) in one of the 3 cabins. You can ask more and make reservation, address:  | |||||||
Access only by boat ( 34 km ) or by walking/skiing/snow mobile ( 15 km ).
You must pay 200€ at least one month before reservation of lake Inari cabin and rest money when asking cabin keys etc.
Cabin rent starts weekday saturday and ends saturday ( not possible tuesday-friday, always one week rent time. Especially in summer ).
There's now solar panel in remote cabin and you can charge your equipments with 4 like this and one like this. Take power banks with you.
Nitsijärvi cabins are some 420 km north from Rovaniemi.
About some 120 km north from Ivalo.
About some 82 km north from Inari ( in Inari is the siida museum ).
From highway E4 you turn to right before village Kaamanen.
Road sign is suggesting you to turn to Sevettijärvi and to Norway..
